Environmental, Health and Safety for Engineering Professionals: Safety Engineering and Occupational Health/Hygiene

This course compliments the PECE Environmental, Health and Safety module on EHS regulations/environmental engineering and is suitable for use in preparing for the Certified Safety Professional exam and relevant to all engineering disciplines. This module begins with the principles of safety engineering including: safety management, equipment safety, fire and life safety, process and system safety, confined space safety, and construction safety. In addition, a discussion on the principles of industrial hygiene/occupational health engineering includes topics on: chemical hazard assessment, personal protective equipment, industrial ventilation, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, noise, and ergonomics.
